Patient Survey on Enhanced Access
Changes To Enhanced Access
What is Enhanced Access?
Some of our local Primary Care services are changing - and we’d like your insight to help us build our local strategy. Currently, there are two services that operate outside of normal opening hours to provide additional access to appointments with GP practice teams.
- Extended Hours appointments are additional appointments before and after each GP practice's normal opening hours, which are only for their own patients. These are run by GP practices.
- Extended Access appointments take place with staff from practices across Worcestershire outside of opening hours and are for patients across the county. These are run by a provider commissioned by the CCG.
From October 2022 the way these services are provided will be changing and to help us design the best service possible we would like your feedback on how you would use this service. Below you will see a video which further explains this.
We're looking for feedback from people like you on how you'd use the Enhanced Access service - with our survey running until Monday 11th July, 2022.
This is your chance to help us plan for the future of Enhanced Access Services in Worcestershire - so we'd be very grateful if you'd take part in the survey and share it with others in your area.
