Patients needing urgent mental health advice in Herefordshire and Worcestershire can now access the Herefordshire and Worcestershire 24-hour Urgent Mental Health Helpline via NHS 111. This follows an extension to the 111 service, enabling people across the country to access their local mental health service by dialling 111 and choosing ‘option 2’ for urgent mental health support.

Locally, callers will be transferred to the 24-hour helpline run by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, which offers advice, support and if suitable, assessment for people of all ages experiencing a mental health crisis.
